Home Facts Atlas has no accounts, forms, or comments. The site itself does not set cookies and does not run analytics or advertising scripts.

Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages keep standard logs: the network address a request came from, the time, the page requested, the referring page, the server’s response, and the browser’s identification string. Those logs are used to keep the site running and secure. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests under its own privacy policy.

Calling a number on a Get help page

When you call a number on a “Get help” page, the call is carried by a call-tracking service and connected to an independent service provider, or to a company that books appointments for providers, in your area. They receive your phone number and whatever you tell them, and they handle it under their own policies. Calls may be recorded by those parties.

Home Facts Atlas may receive reports about calls placed from its pages, such as when a call was made and how long it lasted, because that is how the site is paid.

Links to other sites

Answers link to their sources, most of them government agencies and standards bodies. Those sites have their own privacy practices.

Children

The site is written for adults who own homes. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
