How this site is paid for
Phone calls
Each subject on this site has a “Get help” page with a phone number. When you call one of those numbers, the call is routed to an independent service provider, or to a company that books appointments for providers, in your area. Home Facts Atlas is paid for calls that meet the call network’s conditions, such as a minimum call length.
The phone numbers appear only on the four “Get help” pages. Answers to questions do not carry phone numbers.
What compensation does not change
The answers on this site are written from public sources, and the payment for calls does not depend on what any answer says. Answers do not rank, recommend, or review companies.
Who you reach
Home Facts Atlas does not screen, license, or supervise the providers you reach by phone, and it does not warrant their work. Before hiring anyone, confirm their license with your state or county government and ask for proof of insurance. Each “Get help” page explains how.
